"THE VALLEY" hosts two beautiful resorts just minutes apart...Canaan Valley Resort and Timberline. Combined they offer 69 slopes and trails, six lifts, and excellent snow making capabilities. The vertical drop ranges from 850 feet at Canaan Valley Resort up to 1,000 feet at Timberline. Timberline Mountain is known for its two mile beginner slope "Salamander". The Canaan Valley area is blessed with an average annual snowfall of over 160 inches. The trails at both resorts are divided almost equally between beginner, intermediate and expert trails, providing skiers of all abilities challenging slopes to match their skill levels.
